# iRODS Organise

The **iRODS Organise** feature automatically structures data in iRODS based on predefined rules set by the FAIR Data Station. This feature helps maintaining a structured and consistent directory structure which makes it easier to locate and manage your files.

To use the Organise feature:
- Select the metadata file that should be used for organising the data.
- Click `Process` to start the organisation step.
- The system applies the rules defined in the metadata file to structure the data accordingly.
