BioProjects Export

The BioProjects Export functionality retrieves metadata from the European Nucleotide Archive (ENA) using BioProject identifiers. The retrieved metadata is converted into the Excel template format similar to those you are able to generate using the Metadata Configurator.

Enter one or more BioProject IDs in the search box and click on the Generate button. The FAIR Data Station will then retrieve the metadata from ENA and generate the Excel files for you.

You can generate the metadata files in the following formats:

• Combined Excel file

• Separate Excel files for each BioProject

• RDF data file

• Raw XML files

The combined Excel file will contain all the metadata from the selected BioProjects in one file. The separate Excel files will contain the metadata for each BioProject in a separate file. The RDF data file will contain the metadata in RDF format, which can be used for further processing and analysis. The raw XML files will contain the metadata in the format provided by ENA.
